They are in the NHL despite the efforts of CB to remove them. Should also be in Ulster and Lory Meagher. Best of luck to them.

Best to have both as just a pastime rather than something we could ever be serious about. Not looking good for both. I think Leitrim are the only other county with both their county sides in Division 4. Looks like we will be joining them.

How do you lose 8-23 to 1-08 against the Fermanagh Hurling team?
Its not like Fermanagh are what you would consider a decent team in All Ireland terms, they are probably one of the 4/5 worst teams in the country.
The Cavan hurlers have improved the last few years,so is the problem this year a lack of effort in training, a lack of fitness or what?

who better to answer that question than yourself.

Mark Curry I felt very sorry for him in goal. 8 Passed him by but I think one maybe he should have saved, No back or half back line to help him. Fermanagh played as a unit and they looked good all over the park, I feel sorry for PJ Martin for it would seem at this moment in time he is flogging a dead horse. I hope I am wrong but it looked sad today. Good luck next weekend in Leitrim

overall tink its a complete waste of money the cavan county board provide for the county hurlers.. da talent is simply not there, and no improvment whatsoever any year...

to leg many of u want to sit on fence and accuseend making and sean o rinn. i felt sorry for cavan team sunday and everybody connected to it.however the hard facts are 1 .certain peoplle in high positions dont want hurling in cavan hence the departure of hurling dev manager ,the abolition of hurling board .the sheridans issue not dealt with.last year brendan nelligan made good progress winning 2 and narrowly losing 3 others by point.he brought a sence of purpose to the team and along with a few outsiders gelled the team into a compettive outfit.why was he not allowed to continue?despite sens ranting about lack of numbers at training all that could be there was due to club and college commitments. nelligan should have being retained

The very same could be said of the football teams, maybe the county board should just concentrate on handball, camogie & rounders we're not too bad at them.

for a change I agree with you breffni666 but now the league is over best to forget 2011, I hear there is a new chairman in Mullahorn St Josephs will this open the door to getting more of the players coming back in??? or is this the end of senior hurling for a few years in Cavan???
