Intermediate Championship 2009

Wel its that time again.....
who do you think will win it? killashandra are my pick..going well in div 2...good young squad also. Lavey will be there or there abouts again this year as will drumgoon if their not too preoccupied with the senior champioinship.
not sure about balyhaise theyve lost too many of last years team and seem to be playing a lot of young lads who arent up to it...dont think that theyl survive their group to be honest..id say tho that the winner wil definatly come out of that group..probly the 4 faves in 1 group...

i would have to go with lavey to win it,killeshandra are a good young team and if they get out of their group could be serious contenders! i think that group wil have the winners in it!

Drumgoon wer shocking last night. Kicking aimless balls into the forward line who probally still wouldnt have scored more if they were still there today! They seemed to give up when they gave the ball away and only for Drung gifted them back possesion so many times, the scoreline could have been greater. Our county corner back was given a torrid time of it, by a man who was literally half his size. Fair play to Drung on the win, but they will also need to improve on their shooting to progress from this group.

Ballyhaise Drumalee game was very scrappy. Drumalee will progress to the quarter finals but have little hope of winning it out.

How do people think Balyhaise will fair out against Lavey. Lavey seem to have picked up some momentum of late? with a good win over Drumalee while missing a numbe rof key men, esp jordan at centre back. will he be back this year??
Any predicitons for the other quarter finals??
