Kerry star capped off his extended season yesterday by inspiring Fossa to All-Ireland club junior football championship glory at Croke Park.
Clifford's 0-11 tally helped the Kerry champions to a 0-19 to 1-13 victory against Tyrone’s Stewartstown Harps as his brother Paudie raised the Corn Seamróga Chraobh Mháirtín trophy on his club’s behalf afterwards from the podium in front of the Hogan Stand.
The Footballer of the Year’s scoring contribution also saw his own personally tally increase to 20 goals and 187 points in 34 games for county, club, district and college in 2022/23.
It truly has been a remarkable past 12 months for the Kingdom superstar.
TweetDavid Clifford's 2022/2023 season ends with 20-187 from 34 games with county, club, district, college. Don't expect he'll see much league action now.
