Cavan senior footballers are set to be without midfielder Thomas Galligan for the 2023 season, according to multiple reports.
The 2020 All-Star winner is reportedly moving to Australia and will miss next year’s campaign for the Breffni men as a result.
The 26-year-old had been key to the Blues’ successful Ulster SFC run two years ago, earning him an All-Star at midfield, and his absence is set to be a big blow to manager Mickey Graham.
Galligan is currently injured after suffering a broken collarbone while on duty for his native Lacken and will miss out for his club this weekend when they take on Crosserlough in the quarter-finals of the senior championship.
