Meath legend Donal Curtis has departed his coaching role with the Royal County.
The Rathkenny clubman had been a part of Andy McEntee’s backroom team since the latter took over from Mick O’Dowd as Meath senior football boss in August 2016.
A two-time All-Ireland SFC winner with the Royals, Curtis revealed that he had left his post when speaking in an interview with Meath GAA TV earlier today.
It comes after reports this week that McEntee is expected to continue as Meath manager for a sixth year.
