Patrick (PJ) Montgomery, who died peacefully at the Midlands Regional Hospital in Mullingar on September 11, was a sports enthusiast who enjoyed a game of pitch and putt and was also a keen supporter of Westmeath GAA teams. Poignantly, his death occurred only a few weeks after he and his wife Eileen had celebrated their 39th wedding anniversary.
