Tyrone ace Darren McCurry continued his incredible scoring form yesterday evening in his first game back for his club Edendork this year.
After having come off the bench in the second-half at Croke Park to hit 0-10 in the Red Hands’ battling All-Ireland SFC quarter-final defeat to Kerry last Saturday, McCurry scored a remarkable 0-17 for Edendork six days later as they defeated Errigal Ciaran.
The Dungannon side were 1-24 to 0-14 winners in the ACL Division 1 seventh round fixture which marked the 33-year-old sharpshooter's first game of the season for his club.
The result lifts Edendork off the bottom of the league table and sees them now level on points with Errigal Ciaran, county and Ulster champions in 2024, and Coalisland with eight rounds still to play in the competition.
