St Michaels travelled in numbers to Delvin on Wednesday evening last 30/7/25 for the 3rd round of the under 14 championship. 

St Michaels played with a strong breeze in the first half and took full advantage playing some stylish football and taking impressive scores. 

In the second half Delvin mounted an impressive come back with 3 orange flags raised from outstanding kicking. 

With the minimum of 1 point between the teams the visitors showed their resolve to take a goal at the death to record a victory on the road.

St Michaels and Delvin St Paul's played out a cracker on Thursday evening last 31/7/25

in Castletown pitch in the third round of the championship. 

Very little could separate these Amalgamations from the North of the county in a fierce contest where every player exceled in skill bravery and passion.

St. Michaels went in at the break up by 4 points but the visitors pushed hard to get back to the minimum.

Stout defence and hard tackling in the middle of the field allowed the forwards increasing space to pick off scores as Delvin St Paul's chased the game.

St. Michaels held out for a narrow victory.

Report.

Our two U12 teams had to travel to Athlone and Mullingar for their games this weekend. Our blue team played a very strong Athlone side. They played very good football and thanks to the parents for travelling to Athlone. 

The whites took on Mullingar Shamrocks and these young boys played very well also. 

Thanks to the parents for travelling to these games and well done to our boys.
