Lough Lene Gaels played Castlepollard at Castlepollard's Mergon Park in a Round 1 fixture of Group 1 of the David Smyth Catering Senior Camogie Championship on Sunday August 3rd, all too aware that earlier in the 2025 playing season in a Senior Camogie League Division 1 match played at the same venue, it was Castlepollard that achieved a 2.06 to 0.09 victory versus Lough Lene Gaels. This latest installment of Camogie's R395 Derby fixture was very competitive throughout it's first half, with Lough Lene Gaels leading on a 2.06 to 1.05 scoreline at half time. The competitive nature of this match remained throughout its second half, with the match result favouring Lough Lene Gaels.
U16 Division 1 Camogie Championship
Collinstown's Decotek Park was the venue where Lough Lene Gaels played defending Champions Raharney in a Divisional fixture of the U16 Division 1 Camogie Championship on Monday evening July 28th. This fixture lived up to all pre match expectations as regards the high standard of general all round play. Lough Lene Gaels obtained scores at defining moments of play in the first half, Lough Lene Gaels going on to have possession of the match lead at half time. Raharney came more into contention in the second half of this U16 D1 Divisional phase fixture. Lough Lene Gaels though did win this match. As a consequence of winning this match, Lough Lene Gaels still continues to maintain an ambition of qualifying for the concluding phases of this competition.
Minor Camogie Championship Division 1
Lough Lene Gaels played Castletown Geoghegan in a Round 1 Divisional phase fixture of the Patterson Pump Ireland Division 1 Minor Camogie Championship on Tuesday evening, July 29th, Decotek Park Collinstown was the match venue. Lough Lene Gaels, as a consequence of notching scores at key moments of play in the first half of this match subsequently had the possession of the match lead at half time. Castletown Geoghegan played very well in the second half of this match, asking questions of the defensive qualities of Lough Lene Gaels. However, Lough Lene Gaels did obtain all important match scores in the second half, and won this fixture.

Lough Lene Gaels Camogie Club notifies it's Officer Board, Senior grade players, parents and guardians of juvenile and underage players, members and supporters, that the next lotto draw is scheduled to take place at Decotek Park Clubhouse on Monday evening August 18th at 7pm.
