U14 Division 1 Camogie Championship
Lough Lene Gaels on Monday evening, July 21st, played a Divisional fixture of the U14 Division 1 Camogie Championship, Lough Lene Gaels v St Munnas/Ringtown.
Match venue was Decotek Park Collinstown. This was a very competitive fixture throughout its entire duration, Lough Lene Gaels in the possession of the match lead when this fixture concluded. Although defeated, St Munnas/Ringtown did give Lough Lene Gaels, both players and team management, much to dwell on! Lough Lene Gaels, as a consequence of winning this fixture, still remain in contention to contest the concluding phase of this competition.
David Smyth Catering Senior Camogie Championship
Lough Lene Gaels is one of nine entrants listed to participate in the David Smyth Catering Senior Camogie Championship.
Lough Lene Gaels is drawn in Group 1 of this competition alongside Castlepollard, Drumraney, Raharney and St Brigid's.
Group 2 consists of Castletown Geoghegan, Crookedwood, Clonkill and St Munnas.
All fixtures in both Groups will be played on a single round basis. Following the conclusion of the playing of all Group fixtures, the teams placed in first and second places in both groups, will contest the semi finals phase of this competition.
Lough Lene Gaels is drawn to play Castlepollard in a Round 1 fixture of Group 1. Castlepollard is the match venue.
