Former Donegal All-Ireland SFC winner Rory Kavanagh has succeeded Malachy O'Rourke as manager of All-Ireland club football champions Glen.
The Watty Graham's have moved quickly to fill the void left by O'Rourke following his recent appointment as Tyrone senior football manager. O'Rourke's hugely successful spell in charge of Glen ended with a surprise defeat to Newbridge in last month's Derry SFC final.
Kavanagh managed his native St Eunan's for three season, winning a Donegal SFC title in 2021. He also managed the Donegal U16s to a Buncrana Cup in 2018 and lined out for St Eunan's in their Donegal SFC 'C' triumph recently.
The 42-year-old was a mainstay of the Donegal team from 2001 to 2016, winning an All-Ireland SFC medal in 2012 as well as Ulster SFC titles in 2011, '12 and '14. He is also the holder of six Donegal SFC medals.
