Lough Lene Gaels defeat Raharney with late scores in entertaining Camogie contest

Lough Lene Gaels and Raharney served up a superb U12 Division 1 Camogie Mini League Cup final, played in front of a large number of spectators at Kinnegad on Saturday afternoon, September 7th.

The standard of Camogie played in this contest was of a high standard throughout its entire duration. Raharney 4.01(13) Lough Lene Gaels 3.03 (12), was the half time scoreline. The scores continued to flow throughout the second half. Raharney looked set for victory, until that is an astonishing final chapter of this sporting drama, during which Lough Lene Gaels scored two goals and a point without reply from Raharney. Victory went to the Purple and Golds by a one point margin.
