Senior Camogie Championship 

 

Lough Lene Gaels Camogie Club is drawn alongside, Castletown Geoghegan, Clonkill and Crookedwood,  in  Group 1 of the Senior Camogie Championship. Divisional fixtures in both groups of this competition, will be played on a single round format. Lough Lene Gaels is drawn to play Crookedwood in a Group 1, Round 1 fixture of this competition, a fixture that is scheduled to be played at Crookedwood. 

All Round 1 fixtures in both groups of this competition are scheduled to be played on Monday August 5th, a Public holiday, with 11am match starting times. Lough Lene Gaels Camogie Club Senior panel members are requested to clarify all details of the pending Round 1 fixture with the team management.

 

Sincere Condolences 

 

Lough Lene Gaels Camogie Club extends its sincere condolences to the respective families of William Murtagh, Clondeliever, Collinstown, and Patrick Hughes, Carpenterstown, Castlepollard, who died on Saturday July 12th, and Tuesday July 16th respectively. RIP.

 

U12 Camogie News

 

Lough Lene Gaels played Drumraney at Drumraney on Wednesday evening, July 10th, in a fixture of the U12 Camogie Mini League. 

This match was played throughout its full duration to a very high standard of the various skills of Camogie, superbly and ably displayed by both teams. 

Lough Lene Gaels won this fixture by a very small margin as regards the match result. 

In retrospect, congratulations to both Lough Lene Gaels and Drumraney in that context.
