Tyrone are set to appeal Ronan McNamee's suspension in a bid to free him to play in Sunday's Ulster SFC semi-final against Donegal.
The All-Star full back is facing the prospect of missing the game in Brewster Park after he received a straight red card for an incident involving Conor Brady during the Red Hands' quarter-final win over Cavan last Saturday. As a solicitor, Tyrone joint-manager Feargal Logan knows a thing or two about appeals and said he would review the incident on video before deciding what course of action to take.
“I haven’t seen it and I’d need to look at it. It’ll hopefully be judged on its own merits," he commented.
“We’ve a tight week so the earlier in the week we get that on, the better."
