Surprise packets Brickeys draw holders in Waterford SFC quarter-finals

Champions The Nire will face Brickey Rangers in the Waterford SFC quarter-finals.
That's after the Brickeys recorded a surprise 1-9 to 1-8 victory over Stradbally at a rain-soaked Fraher Field yesterday. A late point from county player Tom O'Connell - who scored 1-5 in total - gave Brickey their second victory over Stradbally in three years. Stradbally will now meet Kilmacthomas in a relegation playoff, with An Rinn and St. Saviour's facing off in the other.
The quarter-final pairings are: Kilrossanty v Ballinacourty; Portlaw v Rathgormack; The Nire v Brickey Rangers; Gaultier v Clashmore/Kisalebeg.
