Tyrone have been handed a major boost ahead of the last two rounds of their Allianz Football League Division 2 campaign with the return of Kieran McGeary from his overseas travels.
The former Footballer of the Year took part in the pre-match warm-up before the Red Hands eased their relegation worries with a comfortable win over Offaly in Dungannon last Saturday night, though he wasn’t part of the match-day squad.
The Pomeroy man will, however, be available for Tyrone’s remaining games against high-flying Meath in Croke Park on Saturday week and the visit of Cork to Healy Park the following Sunday. His return is a timely boost after Darragh Canavan recently departed for Australia for a month.
