Peadar Mogan, Darragh Fitzgibbon, Danielle O'Leary and Beth Carton have been named GPA Players of the Month for May.

Donegal’s Mogan picked up the Footballer of the Month award for helping his county reclaim the Ulster SFC by beating Armagh in the final on penalties, followed by a memorable All-Ireland group stage win over neighbours Tyrone.

Hurler of the Month Fitzgibbon was to the fore for Cork as they recorded sensational Munster SHC victories over holders Limerick and Tipperary.

Meanwhile, Ladies Footballer of the Month O’Leary kicked ten points for Kerry against Cork in the Munster ladies final at Mallow as the Kingdom bagged their first senior provincial title since 2017.

Camogie Player of the Month Carson was a star turn for Waterford as they powered through to the Munster camogie final, slotting 1-11 in the semi-final win over Tipperary before Na Deise lost narrowly to Cork.
