GAA on TV: A Royal Rumble and AFLW

This weekend gives armchair viewers the opportunity to rewatch all the games from the thrilling four match epic between Meath and Dublin in 1991.

TG4 also has coverage from the second round of the AFLW.
 

Saturday 6 February

5.10pm: AFL Aussie Rules na mBan 
Highlights from the second round of the Women's Australian Football League. AFL Women's is Australia's national semi-professional Australian rules football league for female players and fourteen teams will be participating in the competition. There are many players from Ireland playing in the Women's AFL, including Ladies Gaelic Football players such as Cora Staunton, Sinéad Goldrick, Sarah Rowe, Niamh McEvoy and many more.

7.15pm: Níos Mó Ná Cluiche - GAA Uladh 
A documentary exploring the GAA in Ulster. In the first episode Jarlath Burns explores how the Gaelic games are about more than just sport, and how the GAA first took root in Ulster and survived the upheavals of a partitioned Ireland.

7.30pm: Dublin v Meath 1991 Second Replay - The 1991 Leinster SFC Preliminary Round Second Replay took place at Croke Park, two weeks after extra-time had failed to separate Dublin and Meath in their first replay.

9.30pm: Dublin v Meath 1991 Third Replay - The 1991 Leinster SFC Preliminary Round Third Replay was the most dramatic game in an enthralling four match series.

7pm: Dublin v Meath 1991 First game - The 1991 Leinster SFC Preliminary Round saw Dublin and Meath - who had contested the previous five Leinster Finals - paired together in the opening round at Croke Park.

8.30pm: Dublin v Meath 1991 First Replay  -The 1991 Leinster SFC Preliminary Round First Replay took place at Croke Park, a week after familiar rivals Dublin and Meath had played out a 1-12 to 1-12 draw.
