Kevin Walsh is set to continue on as Cork football coach for another season.
The former Galway manager linked up with John Cleary’s backroom team last November and has committed to another year with the Rebels.
This past season saw Cork finishing mid-table in Division 2 of the Allianz Football League before going on to reach the quarter-finals of the All-Ireland championship.
Cleary’s men defeated Limerick, Mayo and Roscommon on their way to the last eight where they lost out to Ulster champions Derry on a 1-12 to1-8 score-line at Croke Park.
