Cavan's Oisin Kiernan will be among the guests on tonight's Late Late Show
Cavan’s Oisin Kiernan will be among the guests on tonight’s Late Late Show on RTÉ One.
Tonight’s show celebrates Daffodil Day, with guest starts including Shane Filan and Jedward as well as 2020 Ulster SFC winner Kiernan.
The Castlerahan clubman will be talking to host Ryan Tubridy about his battle with testicular cancer in 2018, the treatment he underwent and subsequent return to the playing field.
Just six weeks after his final chemo session, Kiernan was back on duty on the playing field for Cavan against Dublin.
A native of Ballinacree, Co Meath, his transfer to Castlerahan would see him breaking into the Breffni men’s squad and he has since gone on to capture Cavan and Ulster senior championship honours with club and county.
The Late Late Show airs tonight (Friday) on RTÉ One at 9.35pm.
