Holders Tyrone breezed to an emphatic second win in the Ulster U20 football championship last night by thrashing Fermanagh on a 6-26 to 0-6 scoreline in Dungannon.

Ruairi McCullagh, Conan Devlin and Liam Óg Mossey struck the hosts goals in the first-half as they took in a 3-11 to 1-4 lead at the break, and the second-half would see Fiachra Nelis, Darragh Donaghy and Eoin McElholm adding more majors to crush the Ernesiders by 38 points in the end.

Donegal were also in ruthless form in Dunsilly as they handed hosts Antrim a 3-23 to 0-2 defeat in their Round 2 encounter.

Finn Coll’s early goal set the tone for the Tir Chonaill lads and they’d keep their foot on the throttle from there to pick up their second win of the campaign with 30 points to spare.

Meanwhile, Derry showed impressive form to see off Armagh by 2-24 to 0-13 at the BOX-IT Athletic Grounds.

The Oak Leafers made a red-hot start which saw Eamon Young nagging them two goals in the opening eight minutes and, from there, they’d go on towards 2-15 to 0-4 half-time lead which the hosts were never going to overcome.

In Inniskeen, Cavan came from behind to earn a 0-13 to 1-10 draw against neighbours Monaghan.

Bobby McCaul’s goal seven minutes before half-time helped Monaghan go in with a 1-8 to 0-6 advantage at the half, but the visitors rallied in the second-half and peeled off points via Cian Keaney, Matthew Smith and Lorcan Reilly to level it.

The Breffni lads would hit the front late on through marksman Reilly before Max McGinnity grabbed the equaliser for the home side in the dying stages.
