Tyrone's Michael McKernan, Padraig Hampsey, Peter Harte and Kieran McGeary have lost their appeal against the red cards they received following a late brawl in last Sunday week's Allianz Football League defeat to Armagh.

The BBC is reporting that the quartet failed to have their one-match bans overturned following a Central Hearings Committee meeting last night. They were sent off along with Armagh's Greg McCabe by referee David Gough for contributing to the melee which marred the closing stages of the local derby clash at the Athletic Grounds.

It means that they will miss the visit of Kildare to Omagh on Sunday if they should decide against taking their cases to the Central Appeals Committee or to the Disputes Resolution Authority after that.
