Team news: as you were for Meath

Darragh Campion

Manager Andy McEntee has retained the same starting XV that defeated Westmeath in the opening round for the trip to Armagh to take on Down.

The introduction of Bryan McMahon, James Conlon, Jason Scully, Fionn Reilly, Eamon Wallace, Jack O’Connor and David Dillon had a major impact in the second half as the Royals staged a late fightback to see off their neighbours at Pairc Tailteann.

In the only change to the match day squad Ratoath’s Joey Wallace replaces Donal Lenihan. Lenihan scored 1-5 when these two sides last met in 2018.

Throw in at the Athletic Grounds Armagh on Sunday May 23rd is at 3.45pm
