Kelly continuing as Galway football captain

Sean Kelly will captain the Galway footballers for a third year in 2024.
The news was confirmed as the All-Star nominated full back spoke at an event to promote the HOPE4LIAM campaign this week. HOPE4LIAM was set up by the Moycullen community to support 20-year-old Liam Davoren on his road to recovery after he suffered life-altering injuries in October.
Kelly skippered the Tribesmen to back-to-back Connacht SFC successes in 2022 and ’23, and to an All-Ireland final appearance against Kerry in ’22.
