A Celtic Park match steward has praised Dublin supporters for the “energy and craic” they brought to last Saturday night’s sold-out Allianz Football League Division 2 clash against Derry.
Sean McGrellis took to social media after the game – which the home side won thanks to a last-gasp Brendan Rogers point – to praise the exemplary behaviour of the travelling Dublin support which he believes added greatly to the atmosphere at the Derry city venue.
“As a steward at the match, I have to say it was a joy to host the Dublin supporters, they bring so much to a game, their energy and craic is infectious. A credit to Dublin GAA,” he said.
