Thirteen may be unlucky for some, but not for Bryan Sheehan who inspired St Mary's, Cahersiveen to a 1-20 to 2-12 victory over Dromid Pearses in yesterday's South Kerry SFC final in Waterville.
The former Kerry sharpshooter scored 0-8 (0-7 from placed balls) as he pocketed his 13th divisional medal. It was St Mary's 37th South Kerry SFC title in all and came just three months after they overcame the same opponents in the Covid-delayed 2020 final.
