Kevin Ross took a leaf out of fellow Royal Emma Duggan's book by scoring this spectacular lobbed goal for Castletown in their Leinster club JFC quarter-final win over Laragh at Aughrim on Saturday.
There were shades of Duggan's audacious strike in last year's All-Ireland ladies football final when former county panellist Ross collected a misplaced kick-out before instinctively lobbing the Laragh 'keeper from about 35 metres out.
Castletown ran out comfortable 2-19 to 0-7 winners over their Wicklow opponents to set up a semi-final date with Clonmore of Carlow.
TweetA goal too good not to share - Kevin Ross doing what Kevin Ross does best! Quick thinking from Kevin after winning a Laragh kickout yesterday in the Leinster Junior Championship Quarter Final to score an incredible goal to confirm our place in the Leinster Semi Final! 💚💛 pic.twitter.com/RQNFSFr9bV
