Mayo manager James Horan has included five debutants in his starting line-up for this evening’s FBD League clash with Galway at the Connacht GAA Air Dome.
Donnacha McHugh (Castlebar Mitchels), Jack Mahon (Charlestown), Fionnan Duffy (Crossmolina) and Sam Callinan and Frank Irwin (Ballina Stephenites) are set to make their first senior starts for the Connacht champions in Bekan.
All Star defender Paddy Durcan captains the side from right half-back with newly named skipper Stephen Coen starting on the bench along with other household names like Rob Hennelly, Matthew Ruane and Ryan O’Donoghue.
Conor O’Shea, younger brother of Aidan, starts at centre-field with Jordan Flynn while Durcan, Padraig O’Hora, Diarmuid O’Connor and Michael Plunkett are the 2021 All-Ireland final starters included.
Throw-in is at 6pm.
