Nemo Rangers forward Ronan Dalton says the club are eager to turn their attention to Munster after reclaiming the Cork Premier senior football championship title with victory over St Finbarr’s.

The win at Pairc Ui Chaoimh ended three years of waiting for Nemo, who last lifted the county title in 2022.

Dalton admitted the club were determined to make a stronger impression in the provincial campaign this time around after falling short following their previous county triumph.

“We want to turn our attention to Munster pretty quickly,” he told EchoLive.ie.

“The last time we won the county final, we probably didn’t do ourselves justice in Munster. We were probably still on a bit of a county-final hangover.

“We’ll try to get our heads turned around straight away because we want to give a much better account of ourselves this time. But for now, we’re absolutely delighted.”

Nemo will now prepare for a Munster campaign, with Tipperary champions Loughmore-Castleiney set to provide their next challenge.
