Replying To Fionn: "Managers and coaches take up positions with other counties all the time. Some are more travelled than others. I have no great issue with it tbh. Par for the course. I would be more concerned with clubs in Dublin inviting/taking in or having inter county imports on their starting team." Hasn't Gilroy denied that rumour? Replying To Seanfan: "Hasn't Gilroy denied that rumour?" He distanced himself from the rumours alright so let's see what happens. If Armagh do get him, he would be a major asset to them. Pat got the Dublin juggernaut going back in 2011… Fionn (Dublin) - Posts: 5344 - 04/11/2026 20:03:00 2699445 Link

Yes I know but for me Gilroy is a little different given he was arguably the brains behind the whole resurgence in Dublin. And while someone mentions Jayo & Ger going to other counties to earn their stripes this is a completely different situation given the sheer wealth of experience Gilroy has. He is on a completely different level to arguably anyone else that we have had involved in Dublin football aside from Jim Gavin I would argue. Anyway he has refuted the rumours last night so hopefully nothing in it ;) TrueBlue35 (Dublin) - Posts: 367 - 05/11/2026 08:57:35 2699461 Link
