You seem to think Dublin and Wexford posters had ye written off. Maybe best you read back the threads, none of us had you written off that I can remember.

I backed Limerick but I know Clare have a great chance now

They need a massive second half now. Clare playing really well

They produced it. What a game! Tyler let the game flow and that brought with it a physicality that was unreal. How many times was Hegarty swung off or held or tripped? He is some player.

Himself, WOD, Byrnes, Hayes, those leaders, they all stood up when needed.

Gonna be some final. That would will really stand to Limerick, but Galway will be in their faces just like Clare were today. I think Limerick will shade it by two points.

Clare did a Cork. Was it four scores in the second half? Two nervy teams today and I'd expect to see a very different Limerick the next day out.

Well done Limerick. Hard luck the Banner, was routing for ye.

Jeasus I thought Clare were going to do it. And last game for Shane O'Donnell, I remember when he broke on to the scene in 2013 and what a season he had that year. A great servant to the game and Clare. I would have loved to have seen a Galway Clare final. Anyhow we look forward to 2 weeks time.

One match I'm actually delighted to get out of..limerick hung in there when it just wasn't going right..Clare will probably wonder how they lost it..Kelly missed a huge goal chance that would have put it beyond limerick..
Clare probably lucky that either cleary or Lohan didn't get 2 yellows..on the other hand people will say Nicky was very lucky to escape, only thing in his favour was Duggan hadn't control of ball..definitely the rule needs to be looked at..
Limerick weren't at it for most of match and Clare produced their best performance of year..delighted by the win and really looking forward to next 2 weeks..
On another note best of luck to Shane o Donnell in whatever he does next..a superb hurler who lit up hurling for years..a gentleman and a great ambassador for the Gaa..

Wonder how they lost it? Shooting a paltry 1-3 in the second half was definitely a help.

Shane o Donnell will be missed for his exceptional skill and movement . Not many players could do what he did with a ball abiltity to win ball is any situation unconventional side steps you never knew what he do in possession..a pure joy to watch .
To many battering rams in rhe modern game i m afraid . Not ndny Sgane o Donnells .

Limerick @ 1/2 is an excellent Investment. Hard part out of way now.

I was quietly expecting Galway and Clare to cause upsets. Tough on Clare to miss out after a brave effort.

Limerick even at 4/9 looks generous. Everything Galway touched turned to Gold the last day, and their work rate was off the charts. It will be very hard if not impossible to repeat that. It is not possible to state how poor Cork were, and the room Galway shooters were afforded. Limerick played poorly but still won, a sign of a very good team. Only hope I see for Galway is if Limerick feel they have enough done in the first half and slacken a bit.

Gutted for Clare tbh but some comeback by Limerick.
At half time Clare led 0-16 to 0-11 and were full value for it.
But in the 2nd half, other than the penalty, the Banner only scored Three Points.
Some bad wides and The Treaty men finally kicking into gear ensured an at times unlikely Limerick victory.
In fact Clare didn't score after the penalty and then led by 6pts. But Limerick finished with 1-05 including their injury time goal. I thought there would have been more at the game tbh. Under 57,000 in attendance.

Some heart and determination on show at the end by Limerick and the introduction of Cian Lynch, immediately after the penalty, saw them home.

On the penalty - there has to be a tweak to that rule. A definite Black Card offence.

Hopefully Galway put it up to Limerick in the final and we have another cracker of a game.
