Replying To Eddie the Exile:  "Whisper it quietly but I think Derry might actually have a stronger first XV than Armagh. However, if Armagh do get ahead by 8 -10 points in the Ulster Final, which is more than possible, there's no way they will let that slip against a team like Monaghan. The key for Monaghan will be to stay with Armagh for 60 minutes and have something in reserve down the stretch.
Matchups, matchups, matchups- huge work to do for GB and co in the next few days."
If you go individually player for player combined 15 I agree Derry would match up pretty well with Armagh. But that doesn't account for how well Armagh are set up as a team, their depth and their winning experience. They may not have the ulster championships to show for it, but they were all Ireland champions in 24, and they've lost very few championship games in regular time in recent years. Derry are a fragile team, with a complete lack of leadership or accountability, no other team in the same Maguire gives up that lead. Never mind 11 points, if Armagh go 5 or 6 up against Monaghan there's no chance

No Scotstown we're all ways in control of the game missing 17 players too.

Think form will go out the window mon v armagh think monaghan can stay with armagh but oisin o Neill is doing serious damage when he comes on armagh are poor round the middle due to injuries etc but the tyrone match is the one monaghan need to focus on and o Neill was the one who bet tyrone for as good as armagh are down and fermanagh were cat so here's hoping

Oh what parishes ? Last time I checked there is one parish, Tydavnet. Are you not aware Scotstown is a village as is Tydavnet and Ballinode?

Jealousy is the fear of comparison.

At least Blayney fielded a team, unlike the a certain south Monaghan crowd afraid of having their seasons hopes ended in April

You'll be the first person in Croke Park next January cheering them on

The ticket situation for the Ulster final is an absolute fiasco. How many tickets are Monaghan getting ? some say its only 6k/7k tickets, has a county in an ulster final ever been allocated as few a number of tickets ?
At this rate, Armagh fans will outnumber Monaghan 4-1

There does not seem to be any update at all. 28k tickets suppose to be total allocation but for Monaghan to only get 7k that's a joke. Fair enough Armagh have more clubs/ more season ticket holders but this should be more 50/50 split than that.

Someone must know how the allocation works. Percentages or whatever it goes by.

Age old tale, as long as the all the 'yes men' and their cronies (want everything for nothing brigade) get their friends and themselves sorted, the genuine fan gets left behind unfortunately. Good chance supporters who were outnumbered in Clones against Donegal will be left emptyhanded. Disappointing.

Does Season ticket not get you access to a ticket for the final automatically? Read back in the thread people spoke of getting tickets in the McGrane stand with their season ticket.

Yes all season ticket holders get the opportunity to buy a ticket. Armagh have a large number of season ticket holders, naybe 10 times as many as Monaghan. Ulster Council are the problem. I see Casement Park development and Croke Park for Ulster Finals written all over it.
