What a day,performance and win. More than made up for the dead rubber heavy loss in the league today. Won't name out any individual players as it was a true team performance credit to management for having them so primed and ready.

Home Connacht final now and a home round 1 game in the All-Ireland series great stuff.

For the experts here. Where does that leave the likes of Fallon, Stack and Cregg. Good problems are good problems I suppose. Can't but think that Cregg should get a start in the final. It's great potential for competition for places on all departments of the field He'd have had a field day today in a game where Mayo gave up. I've been at a lot of games the last 15 years or so when we've got good batings from Mayo so that was very refreshing today.
Would have a cautionary word for the final. Hopefully we can go up another level but a five in a row seeking Galway will be a tough nut to crack. But for tonight let's bask in that performance. Ros Abu.

Brillant from roscommon in castlebar today everyonr thought they would struggle to get enough scores without daire cregg and that they would struggle at midfield, but thats where they won the game. Keith Doyle had a big game today conor ryan developing with every game. Neary covered every blade of grass darragh henaghan was excellent. But diarmuid with 1 10 was motm. Great work by players and management. But big obstacle ahead in the final hopefully they can put in a similar perfornance in two weeks.

The biggest take from today is that Mark O Dowd and his management team are so competent in what they are doing and the players have complete respect and faith in him. It's so satisfying to beat Mayo
Out the gate as we have been at the mercy of many a trimming over the years. I can't wait for The Hyde.
