Loughrea-3 and Ballygunner-5 double is a generous 3/1.
For those who wouldn't understand......that means Loughrea have to win by 4pts or more and Ballygunner to win by 6pts or more!

Replying To WanPintWin:  "A brilliant hurler for club and county. He achieved a huge amount. His list of honours alone doesn't tell the full picture, but it's not bad at all.

At county level:
Senior All-Ireland
U21 All-Ireland
3 National Leagues

At Club:
2 All-Irelands
8 County Titles

At College:
Fitzgibbon Cup

Individual:
4 All-Stars
Man of the Match in the All-Ireland Final"
Fantastic stalwart for Galway and definitely in the top bracket for most successful Galway hurlers of all time.
I reckon on head to head Joe Canning has won more overall for both Club and County.

Slaughtneil are a serious outfit.

Loughrea better be ready for one hell of a battle or they will be sent packing.

Hard to interpret what 'overall' means in your context there, but Burke had more county senior championship wins. On the 'head to head' aspect, Canning was the central figure on an all Ireland winning minor side at 15 years old in 2004. Burke would have needed to make that side as a 14 year old to match that 'head to head', which left him at a disadvantage, one would imagine.

Loughrea will need to be on it from the start tomorrow. They need to have their touch, their intensity and their accuracy 100% to beat slaughtneil. Slaughtneil are physical, fit and fast, but I believe Loughrea have better hurlers and are a better team this year compared to last year. Loughrea by 4

Honours....the definition of one being successful is what one has achieved.
Therefore JC with more All Ireland Club medals but less County medals than DB, would that make the aforementioned JC a more successful individual.
But then one could argue is Noel Lane more successful with 3 All Ireland Senior medals but zero at Club level!
IMO I would have JC as the most successful Galway hurler of all time.

Hayes and Sylvie have those 3 plus club medals, and Sylvie might have a few trophy scalps as well.
