Was there a flash point between naas and MLR?

Fair play to them to go up there and win and win well was a great achievement.

Final is due to be played in Carlow I hear. Hopefully the work being done on the county ground will be finished but I have my doubts. Not sure where it might be played otherwise.

Last Carlow team to make a Leinster club final ….? Was it Eire Og v Ballyboden or was it St Mullins v Ballyhale that was more recent than that. I can't remember the years.

Massive congratulations to The Fighting Cocks on reaching the Leinster Junior Final. Against all the odds the lads have shown incredible heart and belief to get this far. A huge achievement for the club, players and everyone involved. Best of luck in the final!

Thanks. I had forgotten we had a team in the final of both the senior football and senior hurling. What a double that might have been.

Reaching a Leinster final is a huge achievement for Fighting Cocks. Up Rathoe! I hope they go all the way now.

Also, it's further proof that our championship structures are working. I plead with the county board... it ain't broke, so. please don't try to fix it.

Hats off to the Fighting Cocks on an unbelievable achievement in reaching the Leinster Final. I hope Carlow supporters from across the county come out to support them in the final. I agree with Carps on this one that the current structures are working. There is talk of going to a 10 or 12 team Senior Championship & that is not a good idea. You would have at least 4 clubs struggling & 3 of them would survive up Senior every year but to what end?? We had that before years ago when we had 12 Senior clubs but some were only Senior in name. A lot of clubs stayed Senior because they only had to beat 1 weak team butbwere hammered by most of the other teams.
I think the 8 teams in each grade is perfect for a small county like Carlow. I don't know why the County Board are pushing for this change as it won't work. If it goes ahead the interimediate championship will also be watered down & will become Junior A standard & so on down the divisions
