I Would tend to agree with you, but would he have more room now with the new rules! I am told he is going to Australia when ever moycullens involvement is over in this year's championship, if so no point even considering him,

I would have thought same when Maher Darcy called back in and they proved me completely wrong

Best goalie on show in both senior & intermediate club cship by a mile was Maghnus from An Spideal. I fancy Moycullen to go well in club championship but do feel goalie is a weakness as seen with goal against Tuam in semi and they also struggled against SK on kickouts

It's an intriguing connacht championship. Moycullen undoubted quality as have Brigids. Ballina after 3 iin a row and 2 disappointing efforts in Connacht will be hungry. Shamrock Gaels standout team in Sligo and better than Coolera who won Connacht last year. Similar story with Leitrim Gaels with the addition of the 3 Jones lads from Fermanagh. It's wide open and let no one assume the winner will come from the 3 usual counties.

Is our game with ye likely to be a sat night game? I read somewhere Connacht are opening the new stand v Leinster on the same night? Can't see both games on the same night due to traffic/policing ?

Galway should win the three home games and that alone could be enough to stay up, highly unlikely we'll get another year whereby a team is relegated on 7 points.

Yeah, not great planning with the fixtures as I'm sure Galway would want that Mayo game under lights on the Saturday evening. Can't see it going ahead now with the rugby game on that evening and the official opening off the new stand at the same time. Might have to move it to the Sunday afternoon.

Looks like PJ is lining up Pep Guardiola, having missed out on the star.

Dont think PJ will get him in? Any "new players" stand out in champo by new i mean young and have not been with Galway so exlude your Dessie`s Maghnus etc. Roche & Walsh from Killanin stick out for me. Mulryan & Naughton from Caltra Mark Mannion S/K

Shane McGrath and Matthew Reddington from Dunmore. Padraic Costello also finished 2nd in the scoring after Dessie. Jack Mullen from Claregalway and Jack Folan from Jimmies. Shane Grainey from Caherlistrane and Mulhern for M/M. Antoine O Laoi was also impressive
