The Gulf of America, Canada 51st State, Alcatraz, I think is all bouncing ball theory it gets the media chasing their tails which isn't very hard to do. It does take away from the important stuff that's needs doing. Funny that most of what he wants to do the Democrats were all for 15/20 years ago.

Very true. Funny thing is is that you can go on YouTube or Rumble, etc and see these people calling for some of the things they are vehemently against now. Both parties are full of these overpaid hypocrites. Sigh.

Trump classy as ever on his comments on Bidens cancer diagnosis. Stage 9 cancer is a thing now apparently and his doctors covered it up. We are living in the twilight zone. yew_tree (Mayo) - Posts: 11586 - 20/05/2025 19:59:09 2611399 Link 0 |
I loved his waffle about that lumberjack. The jump from drones being able to cut down a tree quicker than this famous lumberjack - a world record holder, mind you- if the enemy were hiding behind it, to waffling on about this world champ was Trump in full flow. Reminds me of the old saying, " If you can't blind them with brilliance, then you baffle them with bull…t ".

I know what YouTube is but I'm a bit too old for Rumble what ever that is. A bit like Belichick and SnapFace and InstanChat.

They are just more information outlets where you have good and bad info coming out just like the television or radio, etc. I can't watch television at work but I can listen to a podcast or a video on one of the many platforms that are out there. Even at home I barely watch television anymore as I prefer to watch streaming services on my iPad.

Some amount of waffle on the airwaves about this fixture, and how 'unfair' and inappropriate that a bottom 5 side will quality for CL off the back of it. The Europa winner gets a CL ticket, and that's that. It's completely irrelevant where their Premiership standing lies. I wouldn't mind, but no one points out that clubs in positions 8 to 15 currently in the Premier league, likely wouldn't win a Europa Cup in a month of sundays, or make the final either.

There is a must listen to GAA podcast on BBC iplayer, it's Mrs Brown the wife of the late Sean Brown who was kidnapped and murdered in Co Derry. The GAA community should be getting behind this family in their quest for the truth instead of some waving Palestine flags at matches. Fair play to them and fair play to Ange Postecoglou for silencing the doubters.

Well that was probably the worst European final of any kind I ever watched. Two poor teams. Well done to Spurs though. Man Utd in big big trouble. yew_tree (Mayo) - Posts: 11586 - 22/05/2025 08:11:19 2611680 Link 0 |
Why only one or the other? Why not get behind both. They both have colonialism and its abuses at the root.

It's great for them to win a trophy, but I don't think it quells much of the doubt about how poor they have been this season. Spurs are one place above relegation in the league after 37 games, which is pretty incredible for a club of their size. They happened to meet a team one place above them who are having their worst season in over 50 years. The saving grace was that both couldn't lose. The quality of the game summed up the the current form of both teams pretty well. A trophy is a trophy, but looking at the list of teams they beat on the way isn't very inspiring either. It's a competition that neither club would aspire to be in, if we're being honest. WanPintWin (Galway) - Posts: 2327 - 22/05/2025 09:43:23 2611690 Link 0 |
