You posts are so random you don't even keep track of what other people say. I never said Brogan didn't do the business outside of Leinster, he is a class act. My point is he had a far better opportunity to do the business than Joyce did for most of his career. Wonderful playmaker,would off walked on to the Dublin team of that era or current Dublin team. The only reason I didn't pick him was because he picked up a few horrific injuries over his career. Just looking at the team again and my chin nearly hit the floor (again) - no Conor Gormley? I know my previous no brainier was another Tyrone man Brian McGuigan, but even more essential to Tryone's AIF successes was the absolute rock that was Conor Gormley, From his wonder block on Stevie McDonnell 2003, to him knocking Declan O'Sullivan half way down the Croke Park pitch in 2005 (O'Sullivan didn't touch the ball after that hit) and his all round marking, beating his man, reading of the game, toughness and never say die attitude. More interesting if people can only recommend people from outside their county. Otherwise, it's as biased as parents talking about their children's achievements! What question marks have Tyrone and Kerry? Ok before I start they were both great teams. Tyrone never won back to backs, they never even made it to back to back all Ireland's I think the closest they ever got was 08 09 yet were beaten by a lot of average teams in their great period. Kerry did do back to backs but they were beaten and needed a second chance to do it , who did Kerry ever beat that was good back then (ok Armagh 06 I'll give them that) but otherwise they beat every team they were expected to beat and most of them were average. The one team that asks them questions all the time in Tyrone Kerry just couldnt beat, 3 times this great Kerry team were found wanting by the same team and had no answer to beating them. Other teams did Kerry massive favours by beating Tyrone for them. Dublin have beaten the best teams consistently over the last 6 years have done back to back and our still in their prime.
