Strictly not a GAA song but 'To win just once' from the Saw Doctors has to be up there. And 'Dancing at the Crossroads' ... great song.

And I forgot about that great song the 2 Johnnies have that all the children love, "When I play for the County". Great auld catchy song.

Replying To Pinkie:  "Couldnt find the original "GAA songs" thread (maybe administrator will help me and add to original thread if he can find it, not in the first 20 pages) but someone mentioned "Cuchulainn's son" as a great GAA song but couldnt find it anywhere (think it was bennybunny or culchie or one of the Cork lads) . The song is written/sang generally by a late Wexford man named Martin Codd about Nicky Rackard. Having grown up on stories of the Rackards and Quigleys, it is a great song. Personally I think Martin Codd does a better version of it but a great version all the same (move video on 1 minute to ignore the first minute of talking!) and I couldnt find his original. Enjoy.

There's loads of GAA songs too. But not many from 2025. I never heard of Kingfishr til a few months ago and was a bit wary of 'indie folk' and still am about some of it! Great song that could be about any parish team. They hit home with the youngsters so maybe we're not old, we're just older.
