Down or Wicklow to earn the golden ticket in mid July. Wicklow will have the neutral support. The 23 and 24 All Ireland winners came out of D2. It'll be a big result for the Tailteann Cup for the winners to similarly come out of D4.

Fair play to Wicklow, lots didn't go right for them in the first half but they kept plugging away.

Can we expect an apology from every single pundit in Ireland who told us after the Donegal-Down game that this year's Tailteann Cup was a waste of time and Down were robbed of their rightful place in the SFC by an unjust competition format?

Just the pundits now, I didn't hear much complaining from Down themselves.
