The Rackard Cup could have a similar scenario next year with Connacht counties

Roscommon
Mayo
Sligo
Leitrim
New York (if u want to count them)

Leitrim won't b cuming up ,and good chance mayo or sligo will go up to ring (I fancy mayo to get over the line this year ,leaving just sligo with the rossies to stay up in ring also

Kerry host Wicklow. A win for the home side would secure a final place. Donegal and Roscommon gave battling performances against Kerry. Opponents raising their game when coming up against the side that dropped into the Ring.

TIER 3 RING
Kerry through to the Ring final. Derry seem to be the front runners to join them. Wicklow and Roscommon to essentially playoff to retain their place in the Ring.
TIER 2 JOE MAC
Carlow on 3 wins from 3 are in a strong position. Laois v Down could decide who will join Carlow in the final.
TIER 4 RACKARD
Tyrone through to the final. Mayo expected to take second, meaning a semi final against New York.

Our Hurlers as expected relegated back to the Nickey Rackard Cup however our last few performances has showed promise and potential but we need to look at adding more experience and physical strength to our panel moving forward. Player turn over proved to be a mountain to climb this year.

Today away to Wicklow in the relegation decider there was nothing between the sides and level 0-9 each on 50 minutes. Much like our U20 footballers on Wednesday we were then undone by a glut of goals. 3 in 4 minutes and that was game done.

Apparently Daniel Glynn is back home and will line out for Pearses this season. If they can get him back involved and Conor Cosgrove back at CB it will be a good start. They need to sort out the FB line though. They are very vulnerable especially in the air.

Hard luck to Roscommon. Gave Kerry a good game a few weeks back. I'd be of the opinion hurling should have 3 lower tiers of 8.
Derry beat Kerry to join Kerry in the Ring final. Derry's 4th year in a row making the final.

Hard luck to Roscommon today and I hope they come back up next year.

With a league title as well I think Bosco has done his best.

I do have to say however that Kerry being in the Christy Ring is not much use to them and certainly no benefit to the other teams in the competition.

Somebody should look at that.

Not 100% relegated yet.

"Roscommon's only hope of surviving relegation rests on New York winning the Nickey Rackard Cup" daft system but best of luck to New York!

They came bottom of the McDonagh cup last year. So they were relegated. Are you suggesting that certain counties should be protected from relegation?

London won Ring last year and are going straight back down after losing all their games.

Football county boards aren't going to make changes. Meath and Kildare were swapping places between Joe Mac and Ring for a few years. The hurling league and championship are too similar. Joe Mac should have at least 8 and Ring level should have at least 8 as well.

The problem I have with Carlow is that there are too many colours in their shirts.

Tier 1 has 2 provincial groups. Tier 2 should be something a mirror of Tier 1 though without the provincial groups. Kerry, Derry and Meath should be part of a larger tier 2, that should have two semi finals at the very least.
