Watched the Wexford Dublin section of TSG over breakfast. They dealt with black cards but didnt count Richies, didnt even look at it. He wasn't the last man, and it was debatable he pulled the lad down in any case. Looked alot like he was charged and the lads just went to ground, as Doylerwex suspected in real time.
They said absolutely nothing about Wexford.
Id be guessing they didnt even watch their own highlights, let alone the whole game.

Replying To Doylerwex:  "It's hard to say but here's where were at

1. Fanning
3. Jippo
6. Molloy (it could well be reck of course)
8. Hearne
9. I think David Codd is a good bet.
11. Jacko
14. Chin

Full back line is two of Murphy, Donohue (highly likely) Clarke, Dempsey and Carley who I think has done really well although I'd prefer him further forward.

Half backs then most likely reck and Foley. Possibly Lawlor but Wickham has done very well.

We could see Lawlor or Wickham in midfield rather than Codd.

Out of the 6 forwards I would think jacko, chin, Roche and Cian Byrne are certs.

The remaining two then is hard to pick. Tucker, Codd, Redmond, Higgins(who looked very dangerous) Banville.

While doing this I realized I forgot Kevin Foley in spite of him being excellent last night and by all accounts having a great season so far.

I also haven't mentioned Whelan or Rowley.

This was harder than I expected.

I think for individuals it's still all to play for and we have positions up for grabs outside the spine.

Also heard yesterday it's very likely Rory will be back but I'm afraid to get excited about it."
Kevin has to start. He'd be ahead of all the other forwards you named except Chin. And Rory if he comes back.

Haven't heard that but That would be fantastic if true . If we can get promotion and Rory back for championship I would be brilliant

Not a mention of Wexford in the analysis, was very poor, you'd have to conclude they weren't too impressed.

You left out James Byrne in your list of forwards, he has been decent whenever he was on the pitch.

They couldn't be impressed or unimpressed after not watching it ;-)

I think that suits us to be honest. All the build up and match reports were very focused on Dublin as well so puts all the pressure on them for the remaining games and the championship in may. Happy enough for us to stay under the radar.

I give up :)

Didn't mention Cillian Byrne either who could well be in contention once he gets himself right.

Just watched it. The Richie Lawlor incident on camera hasn't changed my view on Saturday but aside from that we had plenty of chances to win it.

The thing I'm most pleased about was after their two goals I was worried we might get hammered but we finished the first half really well and got ourselves into a great position. We'll learn a lot from that game. I'm delighted with it after what we saw against Antrim and down in particular.

Absolutely. Was the best player on the pitch from either side in the Fethard v Danesfort game and he only on 1 leg.

Some of the decisions were strange the Richie Lawlor one was crazy we had two men covering and he was a good bit wide of the goal. To be fair on second viewing last night of Rory Higgins first penalty not sure there was a huge amount in that either. On refection im very happy with where we are. The young lads are standing up and growing in confidence. They competed really strong against a big and much more experienced Dublin team. Its in our hands now cant wait for the trip to Clare. Been delighted with our character shown so far this year. The lads have kept battling away when things havent been going our way, As you said two goals down early on Wexford teams of previous years would have folded. There is growing competition for places with likes of Jacko , Cian Molloy and according to other posters maybe even Rory to come back my optimism for the Leinster championship is growing. But lets take it one game at a time the trip to Clare is another big test that will get a long way to deciding if we are in 1A next year.
