Afinestick96 that is all on the players. My father was saying lots blaming Rossiter since the weekend, but workrate is a non-negotiable and if you aren't willing to give your all you have no business crossing the white line.
The effort rate was so poor and lazy, Kilkenny players waltzed out with the ball in oceans of space. That is not coaching, that is not gameplan, that is player attitude.
You don't need to be a great player to give everything you have got. You just need a never say die attitude that was absent on Saturday. Look at even Offaly and Kildare by all accounts, not the best players but dogged and determined. Every Munster county has this mindset, why do we not have it?
I don't like being critical of players, but some times you have to look in the mirror and ask did I do everything for the team today.
Repeat that on Sunday week and our season is over.

Don't think we have a prayer v Dublin if the 2 x Recks are out. Agreed on getting two more experienced corner backs in but they have very little hurling played this year.

I agree with you couldnt believe how easily Kilkenny players were getting out with the ball. The same attitude killed us in Parnell Park last year too our forwards work rate was non existant.
I went down a you tube rabbit hole last night and watched our game against Waterford in 2014. Our work rate in our forwards was through the roof and we turned over loads of ball resulting in frees and scores for us.
Work rate when you put on a Wexford jersey is a non negotiable and we need to see it upped ten fold if we are to beat Dublin.

Jippo was thrown into action with NO gametime under his belt. Jacko has started the last two championship games after ZERO league minutes.

If he's willing to bank on experience over gametime in the two scenarios above, he has to be willing to spring one or two more out of the cold too, otherwise our season will be over if he persists with lads not suited to the positions they are picked in.

But hey at least Carley did alright against Kildare!

Where is this news about both Recks being out? I've literally seen/heard nothing about it except on this forum. God it's going to be a gigtanic mountain to climb if true, so hard not to reach for what-ifs/maybes with the amount of injuries and lads opting out. Hard to not to feel like it's going to be a lost year.

If any county including Cork and Limerick were down the numbers we are they would be a shadow of themselves. I really feel for Rossi, he's been dealth a horrendous hand and he never makes a big thing of it.
