Donegal by 1-2 points
Galway by 3-5 points
Armagh by 2-3 points.
Toss up for Tyrone/Dublin. Tyrone by 1 point.

As a fan of one of the supposed "outsiders" I can honestly say I have rarely felt as much belief ahead of a championship game at HQ. That isn't complacency, Donegal are a serious outfit, I but I genuinely believe we can match them.

For all the predictions re Galway, someone is going to have to tell me who exactly Meath now fear having already beaten Kerry and Dublin.

The other ties: coin toss.
So here goes:

Monaghan
Dublin
Meath (yes, Meath)
Armagh

Monaghan
Tyrone
Meath
Kerry
I think Monaghan just as their 2 pointers will maybe give them the edge although if Mohan not fit they might struggle there.Tyrone and Dublin could go either way but think Tyrohe to squeak it.Meath cant go against my own county plus pressure is mostly on Galway and been underdogs seems to suits us.Kerry I just reckon there is a big game in them and there is no bigger game than the current all Ireland champions.

I'm currently at the match - both Monaghan and Donegal have brought a great support, but where are the Dubs

Monaghan had a 7pt lead at HT but lost by 6.
Their legs went in the 2nd half.

They were dropping like flies at one stage, when I expected it to be the Donegal men who might wilt with the 6 day turnaround. Fair play to Donegal. Excellent 2nd half.

The 2nd game could have gone either way tbh, I think there was 1pt in it with 5mins or so to go.
2 pointers won this game imo.
Tyrone got 6 of them.
The Dubs got none from my recollection.
The final score was not a true reflection of the game however Tyrone deserved to win, in terrible conditions.

Roll on tomorrow with another 2 intriguing 1/4 finals.

Was expecting Donegal to win but expected a lot more from Monaghan, they faded badly 2nd half and it was more a mental thing than fitness with them. Donegal goal rocked them and their shooting was so wasteful Donegal with their tails up were excellent in their shooting in comparison

Dublin just as wasteful in their shooting as Monaghan which was their downfall also. Gone are the days under Jim Gavin when Dublin was so measured in their shooting. No easy task for Dublin now under the new manager, lot of rebuilding to do and no U20 Leinster title won for the last five years will make that rebuilding a harder task for the new manager.

You're 2 out of 2 so far. Better than myself.

Your own Galway let you down…again. But well done. However, stuck to the football like a good woman from now on, because humpty-dumpty knows more about hurling than you do!
