First half display from Limerick today was close to perfection, great to see Peter Casey back in action. Limerick in full flow are a joy to watch.

Limerick should have the 5 in a row before last year. Definitely one of the greatest teams ever to play the game and lots if time left plus emerging talent.

Best half of hurling I've ever seen. Creative, clinical, inventive. Even a winning team needs to renew and refresh and Limerick have added Shane O'Brien and Adam English to their All Ireland winning team. Hard to see them beaten but of course no certainties in sport.

I'd go along with the perfection in first half,it was brilliant to watch.next weekend now a chance for 5/6 panel members to get meaningful minutes into their legs..
They gave cork no time on ball and were back to bringing the intensity levels that we got used to..it's a long time since not one player didn't perform..also some great scores from players off the bench..
Keep it going now and push on..

Fantastic display yesterday, Cork can beat us, but only if we are off or we get a player sent off. If Limerick play to their potential its hard to see them living with us. Do Cork have a player of the calibre of a Kyle Hayes or a Cian Lynch who will dominate and control game in game out, it looks like they don't.
From a selfish point of view I would not like to play Cork again in the Munster final, it gives Cork another chance to play us and to try and figure us out.
We were brilliant yesterday and probably won almost every position but Cork also looked a bit off yesterday in terms of their energy and body language

Without a doubt Fitzy, Limerick were awesome yesterday but Cork were miles off it, no intensity, no fight and Limerick given acres of space. It was a massacre. re body language - you could tell from the warmup that they looked lethargic, and so it transpired. Big weekend coming up, and Cork could easily be out by this time next week.

Fantastic performance yesterday and all involved can be very proud. While we should enjoy it, remember Cork are far from gone. They will be like a wounded animal when we meet them again. (and I feel we will)

As we have qualified from Munster and are almost certain to qualify for a Munster final

Given its only a 7 day turnaround I think we have a great opportunity to rotate and give some game time to the players in the squad who could benefit from it. I'm thinking we should start Barry Murphy, Fergal O'Connor, Declan Hannon, Darragh O'Donovan, Cathal O'Neill, Peter Casey, Aidan O'Connor and Seamus Flanagan against Clare. This would not weaken the team much but could allow these guys put their hands up for selection while allowing the likes of Sean Finn, Diarmaid Byrnes, Gearoid Hegarty, Tom Morrissey and David Reidy who have been phenomenal in championship in the year to date some well earned rest for the big tests yet to come.

I know its almost certainly a dead rubber, but I dont understand why Limerick v Clare is not on TV
Huge rivalry, Clare will go all out for pride, it will be fascinating to see who Limerick select and how they go, and both teams will want to win badly
Safe to say there will be a bigger crowd than any of the other games, apart from the Cork game (it wont sell out perhaps but surely there will be 30k+)
The Championship is over so fast, and we only get a handful of games (seven if you win provincial and get to AI final)), so its a real shame they cant show it on GAA+ or TG4

(They are showing Dublin v Galway and Offaly v Antrim in the earlier time slot but then only one Munster game)

Isn't it good that they show a Leinster game or two now and again? Or else we'd have anarchy on here; such are the grumblings and disgruntlements with not having Leinster games on the big screen. And it's not just Leinster, as some of that discontentment is coming from extended parts of the province, such as Antrim and Galway.

Its not a zero sum game - there could be a simultaneous broadcast of the two Munster games or a delayed broadcast on GAA+ if RTE complained about losing advertisers
Leinster games are on a different time
For a game where the result doesnt matter I'd say there is huge interest to see how Clare react to losing their crown, and playing their closest rivals, and if Limerick kick on from last week and who they play and how the new guys go

Presumably the game will be filmed, and they will show highlights that night
My point is there are few enough hurling games, over a very condensed time frame and they should aim to show most if not all games live
(for similar reasons I'd say Wexford Kilkenny should also be shown and will be an interesting game even if result doesnt matter)
