I fully agree with that. The current rule is almost guaranteed to lead to a major row in the championship. Suppose the buzzer goes just as a player is in the act of kicking the equalizing point - under the current rule, the score should not count, but I doubt that many refs would have the b***s to strictly enforce the rule and I don't blame them.

GAA have very clear rules
If Meath put the ball in the net its a goal, doesn't matter how or when it goes in. All other rules are null and void in this eventuality.

Agree 100%. At least that way teams have it in their own hands to work a score to equalise or even win a game.

Replying To Commodore:  "I agree that Tyrone have the players, i just don't think they have got their team balanced yet when at full strength. I have no doubt they can scalp top sides, but I haven't seen enough yet to suggest they have the consistency to win the All ireland. Is it possible? Yes, Is it highly likely? I doubt it.

Now that is based on last years League and Championshop and this years league."
You're dead right, not enough consistency but I still think they can do it, If they play for 55 or 60 minuets.
