Interesting parallel with Ros being Connacht champs in 2001 and 2026, beating that years allireland champs in the CFC on both occasions.
I think people spend way too long talking about peaking at certain times of the year. The premiership will start in a few weeks time and it will run until next May. Likewise the rugby will start and it will run until May, again not a word about them peaking too soon or too early.

It seems that way and Andy Moran's comments pre match yesterday that the 5 week break was invaluable for sorting his team out will only serve to further disconnect the championships. It may see more counties who are short of bring genuine AI contenders, like Westmeath this year, targeting and winning provincial championships which is good overall and the big boys will focus less and less on it.

Those tournaments last for 9 months, you obviously cant peak for something that long.
