A old man Francie was walking up Platter's hill drunk and the Parish Priest shout's over"drunk again Francie" he shouts back" so am I Father". Another one, a man puts all his wages in a card machine in the bar for 4 weeks in a row, the last time he goes home comes back with car and trailer and horse's the machine into the trailer, not one man got off their seat to help.

I am not a fan of the music currently played at county grounds nowadays, must e a generational thing." ah it was nicer and more homely (but of course we are so concerned now with being "inclusive" that all our old traditions cant be paraded for fear of offending somebody) its a pity, I know Cork havent been in many All Irelands compared to years ago, but when did we last hear the banks of my own lovely lee being sang to a a full house in croke park, or the rose of Mooncoin, Limerick your a Lady or Shannagolden even for Limerick (no doubt the Fine Gaelers wouldn like a sort of rebel song played in case it migh upset their percieved friends accross the water or up in the North of our country) too much molly coddling now at our own expense..God be with the old times racing home to only listen to a match on the radio, and then staying in to watch propper highlights of a Sunday Night, not this "go put the kettle on and ya missed it" highlights that we see now...

Great game yesterday as Mickey Harte used to say (rather than winning at a canter) that's the exact type of game you love to be on the winning side of! Unfortunately not Tyrones day, but a great game to watch and well Done to Monaghan who I'd have to say should be an Inspiration to all smaller counties, the way they compete time & time again despite limited resources, funding & general neglect of Clones by the Ulster Council (that arguments for another thread again I'm sure)

There are a few and definitely not the Pretty Little Girl From Omagh, Flower Of Steet Strabane or Hills Above Drumquin as mentioned by other posters from outside our county.

In that case Back To Tyrone by More Power To Your Elbow is an original song (non football related as I said in the post)
As a non made uppy song, in my view woukd win any vote as the song to play over the PA if/when Tyrone Teams win finals.

The Galway captain referenced so many people who left this nation against their will, because of our economic situation.
Twas in my opinion the best speech given on the steps of the Hogan Stand.

Mic drop…" its very good but wouldnt say its the greatest now..a fair bit of history in it ok, but Green Glens of Antrim while not heard too frequently in All Irelands is as good a song..Wexford also have a few great songs too..
