I was at the game Wednesday night, very disappointed with the wexford support it was way behind Offaly's. There is no doubt that it was a home match for Offaly in everyway apart from the venue and worth a few scores to them. hunting (Wexford) - Posts: 1158 - 19/05/2023 15:19:03 2479667 Link 0 |

I taught over the 60 mins he had a good game, awful pity about the vital turnover near the end.

While its great for hurling in general to see green shoots from Offaly does anyone think the media love in after the u20 game is bit OTT, the coverage with them say compared to the Sligo u20 footballers who beat Roscommon, Mayo, Galway and Kerry to make an Ai final has been alot more in your face and I say that as someone who great time for Offaly supporters bar the few bandwagon boo merchants who came the woodwork Wednesday night and that Offaly u20 team is impossible to dislike in fairness. Think the hamstring injury is a result of the foot injury. He played near enough all of every game this year before that. I don't think he's particularly injury prone though. I heard the same about him and Shane as you did as regards training.

We went long to him a few times in the 2nd half he was out in front of me. But as far as I remember he only caught 1 or 2 balls all game. He was well marked after his great show against Kilkenny.

He got caught wrong side a few times also. And a couple of loose passes. He tends to over commit. He's one of the best prospects on that team though he has great heart.

Quite the opposite to be honest. Its refreshing to see it been talked about for a change seeing as the modus operandi of the GAA these days is to rush through hurling as quickly as possible and hide it away! tearintom (Wexford) - Posts: 1599 - 19/05/2023 19:19:14 2479697 Link 0 |

The most embarassing championship result in Wexford hurling history. Absolutely shameful stuff. Westmeath probably scored more in the second half alone than in any of their entire previous games. beano (Wexford) - Posts: 1515 - 21/05/2023 16:43:40 2480008 Link 1 |

Let me guess, it's all the fault of either the crowd for not going or the ref for this collapse cos that's the general excuses we see here! tearintom (Wexford) - Posts: 1599 - 21/05/2023 16:53:09 2480021 Link 0 |

I've never posted anything negative about the footballer's after a bad result (they've had plenty over the last 10 years). Your not a Wexford GAA fan. Your a disgrace in fact to be taking pleasure from a Wexford defeat

Shameful stuff, worst half I've seen from a Wexford team, worst result I can remember for a Wexford team in championship but to mock your own county is even more pathetic and embarrassing.
