Replying To Doylerwex:  "Have to say I'm like a child at Christmas.

I grew up going to croke Park 2 or 3 times a year and can't wait for this.

I know we've had some defensive problems but if the forwards work as a unit like last week we can get the scores to win this.

It's a big day for jacko in particular. I think it's really important for him to put two performances together and show a bit of leadership we all know he has in him.

I'd like to have seen Dunbar back in midfield and Richie Lawlor start ahead of Hearne but it's great to have options on the bench.

Mac was the most unselfish I've ever seen him off the bench last week so great to have him to come on if the game is in the balance.

I've always found him to be a big game player too. He was incredible the last two big days in croker.

Best of luck to the lads.

If we get a result today, regardless of what the pundits say it's advantage wexford for a leinster final as recent history in wexford Park goes against the old enemy.

It will be tough, but we have it in us"
You psychic?!!

This is terrible-How is our manager still looking at Liam Og McGovern? The game plan is to let Dublin have the ball, repeat…

Extremely disappointing display, devoid of any visible game plan and the amount of poor wides is unacceptable at this level of hurling.

Something doesn't appear right in the camp this year, Egan seems a good guy with plenty of good work behind him but I'm sure he's regretting taking the job as Wexford manager because the players are just not there due to poor planning by Davy.

Some shocking wides there from Wexford when the game was in the cauldron. But as a neutral can I ask who the hell were the commentators on GAAGO? That Dublin lad's bias was absolutely shocking and even as a neutral he almost had me cheering for Wexford. A 50/50 decision went Wexford's way and he was deriding the ref, and minutes later when even by his own admission a Dublin player went to ground with barely a touch and he was hailing the resulting free as 'great game management'. It was tiresome.

Absolute nonsense, players are there for dublins level. If you put a Wexford jersey on Donal Burke we would have won by 12 points. Cut Dublin open at times, numerous goal chances but on the day those goals don't come off your free taker brings you home. Exact same as last yr in wex park, 16 wides, today 19/20. Fact is we never appear to be able to have a 95% free taker in the last 20 years & that is our problem.

We let in a very soft goal.. Hit the crossbar . Had 13 more wides than Dublin. 15 more scoring chances. And still only lost by 2 pts.
Bottom Line Dublin are actually very poor. And somehow we lost to them.

God I thought it was just me, he was a hard listen! I ended up mooting him and listening to se radio which was the other side of things!! Anyways, anyone selling a free taker?!!

Thank god it wasn't just me that thought this. Shocking. Compete bias. That last 'dive' where he said game management was shocking.

Septic stuff really. Playing clearly injured players backfired badly but no sign of a gameplan yet again. Letting the mighty Dubs run the ball uncontested up to midfield all first half was a strange tactic. With any bit of composure in the second half could have snatched an undeserved win, there were some surreal misses and unbelievable selfish play at times. Both teams at nothing really but at least the Dubs had lads capable of winning their own ball, most of our forward line seemed incapable of putting their hand up! Mac did well when he came in, likes of Shane Reck and Donohue battled very hard but you would be struggling to pick lads who did well apart from that. 9k attendance!

Think county board would be best off letting Egan go asap really but problems run a lot deeper than that performance today. S&C, basic skills levels... absolutely miles off it.

He was painful to listen to and so biased like you said. It was hard enough watch without his drivel. God I am so fed up I can't even comment on the match.

What do you mean somehow? Dublin have beaten us 7/8 times. We had 19 wides, clueless on the line as was evident all year…

For a start do the same as we need to do. Put yere own people in charge. Hoped for better. Davy the same when with Wexford keeps saying we lost our shape. One liner parroted over and over. What is that ? The shape he has put on the team.

I agree that we cut them open at times in the second half and could easily have won that game but our wides were atrocious.

Maybe I wasn't clear, I meant that Egan has had to try and build a panel that was neglected for years, so whether we have players in Wexford at Dublin's level is all opinion based but they definitely didn't get an opportunity till this year and that is going to count against us unfortunately.

It's a bitter loss to take especially having to listen to that non biased co-commentating Dub on GAA GO!!
